          Aniseed can be found each and every houses used as spices.It is cool in nature. It's Latin name is 'Foeniculum vulgare '. Aniseed acts on  digestive system of our body. One teaspoonful of aniseed after meal keeps healthy and helps the food we eat to digest properly. Aniseed has many important qualities for our body. It has enough quantity of vitamins to keep our body healthy. The qualities are protein, carbohydrates, lipid, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and sodium. It one of the best flow of vitamins. Vitamin C, Thiamine, riboflavin, Vitamin B-12, A, B-6, Vitamin foliate and Vitamin E also present in it.

         If you are feeling sleepy most of time, feeling idleness, then boil 10 grams aniseed with one litre of water and mix with it slight salt, take it for five days, you will get relief from it soon. If you are suffering from sleepless then take 12 grams of aniseed and boil it with half a litre of water, take 250 grams of cow milk and add 15 grams of ghee, take with sugar according to taste during bed time.

           Some people suffer from abdominal problems. In this case take two teaspoonful of aniseed, grind it, mix sugar candy and take it early in the morning for ten days. It will cure soon. If there is constipation in stomach, then take four teaspoonful of aniseed and boil with a glass of water, filter it and drink, it will cure constipation. Before bedtime, after dinner, take one teaspoonful of aniseed with warm water, it will help our digestive system.

            When the food we eat, will not digest properly, it causes weakness, feeling of heavy stomach and idleness. For this take aniseed 50 grams, 25 grams of cumin seed, dry coriander seed, black pepper, dry ginger, cinnamon, each 5 grams, one fourth teaspoonful of cardamom and grind them properly. Take one cup of boiled water, mix the powder of half a teaspoonful and sugar according to taste, after a while take it with lemon juice. Take it regularly for a month, you will get relief of weakness and constipation or indigestion.

            In case of acidity, take half fried aniseed every day after lunch. To increase digestive power, take equal quantity of cumin seed and aniseed and fry it, chew the mixture after meal. To increase appetite use aniseed with salt according to taste, you must feel hungry and take meal with satisfaction. To avoid the problems of stomach pain, take aniseed and black salt with warm water, you must get released from it.

          In case of acid retching, take aniseed with sugar, you will be cured soon. If you are suffering from cold, take 25 grams of aniseed, three cloves and boil them with half a litre of water, after remaining one fourth of that solution, mix sugar or sugar candy and drink time to time, it will give better result. When there is problem of breathing due to cough or bronchitis, take two teaspoonful of aniseed, two teaspoonful of caraway seed and boil with half a litre of water, keep it warm, take two to three teaspoonful of it in a difference of half an hour, you must get relief from cough.

           Chewing of aniseed cures any types of mouth disease. If you are suffering from mouth wounds, take equal amount of aniseed and sugar candy, mix them and chew, it will cure mouth problems. In case of acidity it causes enteritis, take four teaspoonful of aniseed and boil it with a glass of water. When it remains half a glass of water, add sugar candy, filter it and drink. Acidity along with constipation will cure soon.

          When body is looking weak, take 100 grams of half fried aniseed, chew 2 teaspoonful of it at night before to bed. By taking one month, weakness of body will cure.In giddiness use powder of aniseed and sugar candy equal quantity twice daily.

           To increase memory power, take equal quantity of aniseed, sugar candy and raw wet groundnut, grind them and take in with warm milk. Memory power will increase gradually. Bad smell of mouth also clear through aniseed. Aniseed keeps the total body immunization. So we should take aniseed to keep us healthy.
