Medicinal values of Holy basil plant

        Holy basil is a safety antibiotic medicine. It is known as medicine for all disease. This medicine able to cure both physical and mental disease. It;s popularity has described in Hindu ethics. In the view of Ayurvedic medicinal system it is found to be more effective on most diseases. The plant of holy basil emits oxygen like banyan tree for the welfare of human being. It is of two types, one is Rama which has green leaves another is Shyama which has black leaves.Both of them has same qualities.

     In the views of Ayurveda holy basil has the qualities to cure the diseases of warms in body, gout, infections of phlegm, vomiting, urine problems,bile, fever, heart diseases, skin diseases, hysteria, faint etc. You can plant holy basil in the month of July. It can available every where easily and convenient to use. Every types of gout diseases and phlegm related diseases are cured with the help of holy basil plant. It can also cure the dangerous disease like cancer. Wound, ulcer, swelling, pain in muscle etc are cured with it. Depression, blood pressure, nerve problems are cured if you rub holy basil paste on skin. Outer warm of body also are destroyed through leaping the paste. Stomach ache and warms inside belly also are destroyed. It is used to cure all types of fevers, common cold, influenza, diabetes, asthma, bronchitis, head ache, heart disease, malaria, stress and tuberculosis.

   USES Of HOLY BASIL IN DIFFERENT DISEASES

• Cough and cold- By taking juice of holy basil leaves, honey and ginger juice together cough can be cured. Juice of Shyama basil leaves with ghee can be used for cough and cold. Fry 3-4 cloves and take with holy basil juice. It will cure common cold very soon. Use black pepper powder with Shyama basil leaves and  get cure from cough. 
• Pain in teeth- Make a paste of black pepper and holy basil leaves, prepare small balls, keep a ball in between the teeth where you are feeling pain. It will decrease the pain in teeth.
• Nasal problems- Prepare powder of dry leaves or flowers of holy basil leaves, filter it with a cloth, inhale a small pinch of the powder. This will stop flowing of bad smell from the nose and destroy the warms from the brain.
• Pain in ear- Take juice of holy basil leaves, filter it, warm it slightly, put 2-3 drops in the affected ear twice a day. It must clear ear pain. Take two teaspoonful of holy basil leaves juice, one teaspoonful of mustard oil, warm it up to preparation of oil. Put 1-2 drops of it in the ear whenever you are feeling pain in the ear.
• In skin diseases-( eczema)-Make a paste of holy basil leaves, mix lemon juice with the paste and leap it on the affected area of the skin. After a week it will be cured.
• White spot on skin-Prepare a paste of holy basil leaves with water of the river Ganga, use it daily before bath on your skin. It will help to erase the white spot from the skin.
• Scabies- Take two cup of holy basil leaves juice, mix one cup of sesame oil, warm the solution on a low fire. After an hour it becomes ready, then filter it. Cool it, keep in a glass container, use it on your skin. It will cure scabies gradually.
• In malaria-Take a glass of water, 21 basil leaves and 1/4 teaspoonful of  black pepper powder with it. Boil the solution up half a glass of water remain ,then cool it. Give the patient like a cup of tea to drink. When sweat will come from the patient's body, fever will decrease automatically.
• In case of snake poison-Holy basil has a quality of destroying poison. In the situation of snake bite, use more to more holy basil leaves juice and use paste of holy basil root on the affected area. If the patient is fainted or senseless,then put basil juice in the ear and nose of the patient. It will destroy the poison.
• Dysentery-Prepare solution of holy basil leaves, mix a small amount of nutmeg paste, boil it and give the patient to drink. It will cure dental problems. Take 200 gm of curd,10 gm of holy basil leaves paste,3 gm of psyllium ,5 gm of bel powder, prepare a solution and give the patient to drink.
• Vomiting-Give holy basil leaves juice with honey to the patient to leak. Collect Ginger juice, basil leaves juice, small cardamom paste, mix them all and give the patient to drink. It will stop vomiting.
• Gout-Holy basil has a quality to destroy gout. Solution of holy basil leaves can cure pain in nerves. Continue use of holy basil leaves juice can cure joints pain.Massage of holy basil juice can also cure injury. Root, leaves,flowers and stem of holy basil is a medicine for most of nerve diseases.
• Bad smell of mouth-Take 4-5 holy basil leaves early in the morning after bath to get relief from bad smell of mouth and increasing weak brain. Memory power also increases by it.
• Headache- Take 5 gm of holy basil leaves(shadow dried) powder with honey, headache will go away. Using paste of Shyama basil root on forehead can cure headache. By inhaling powder of seed or leaves of holy basil also useful in headache.
• Stomach diseases of children- According to situation, give  1-2 gm of holy basil juice to drink to the child in belly ache or stomach pain.
• Warms of belly -To destroy the warms inside the belly, take 11 leaves of holy basil with 5 gm powder of yellow myrobalam and water daily two times.
• Impotency and weakness- Take 5 gm of holy basil powder with cow milk during morning and night.This will help in increasing health.
• Hiccough an asthma- Taking of 10 gm of holy basil juice with 5 gm of honey can give relief from hiccough and asthma.
• Gonorrhea- Take leaves of polyal tree and holy basil leaves, boil them with  4 cup of water, after boiled it must remain 1 cup of the solution. Give the patient to drink early in the morning for two to three weeks. It will cure the disease.
