The zoo Nandankanan and the nature

          The winter is coming with tourists season. After some days school and colleges are going to announce their winter holiday. People of different age group are preparing themselves to spend their holidays. Some people are being ready to go for tourist places and some people are going to have a picnic in the greenery of deep forest. Then Nandankanan is a best place for the tourists to spend their winter holidays. May it be summer holidays or winter, it is very interesting to spend a day at Nandankanan. You can find no where to celebrate picnic and enjoy  with birds and animals other than Nandankanan. There is something special to have a boating in the lake 'kangia'.

                               

        It is twelve kilometres far from the capital city of Odisha and 16 km distance from the historical city cuttack. Lake Kangia is separated by the zoological garden and botanical garden at Nandankanan. It is appropriate  place to spend winter holidays with family and friends. The natural scene of the two gardens is surrounded by forests and mountains. The zoological garden has spread its wings up to hectares of land. In which there are 2343 birds and animals with 3 species and  of 150 types of animals in 105 sections. The birds and animals seen here are very rare in the world.

         Tourists can enter the Nandankanan by seven modernised gate around it. Ten persons can enter within one minute in a single entry gate with tickets in their hands. The officer in charge can can follow the tourists with a computerised control room. After passing through the main gate, tourists can meet the geographical map of Nandankanan, through which visitors will able to watch the birds and animals within a staple period of time. There are sixty one trained government appointed guides to help the tourists to show the birds and animals in different places of different blocks.Within an hour the groups of guides can show the tourists the complete scenery of the zoological garden. Tourists have to deposit an amount of 100-150 rupees for this purpose. The Tourists can enjoy the lions sanctuary , white tiger sanctuary, herbivorous sanctuary and bear sanctuary with the guides. With a certain amount of ticket, the tourists can visit the sanctuary with the help of a vehicle run by battery. Also they can visit other places with the vehicle. A specific tax needs to pay for this purpose. There is facilities of organising picnic in botanical garden.

              Lake Kangia has separated the zoological and botanical garden. The facilities of boating is available here. There was a facility of entertain with rope way,which is closed now a days. Except these there is privilege of free wheelchair system for handicraft people. There are rest rooms, guest rooms, library, separate toilets for man and woman inside the zoological garden. Space for parking vehicles also available. Information center for  handicraft tourists is also available. In this centre a handicraft tourist can watch video recording of animals in zoological garden. This facility is free of cost. There are children gardens, fish tanks, children train for the enjoyment of children. Cooked food, polythene,plastic bottle are prohibited in zoological garden. An entry fee of 20 rupees is being collected from adult tourists. Officers view that more tourists may come to visit by this year in compare to previous year.

                       

          Tourists travelling by train have to drop at Barang railway station and can go to Nandankanan on foot or by auto rickshaw. Like that tourists travelling by bus can start their journey to  Nandankanan from master canteen bus stand by bus.

innovative measures | keep school toilets clean with less water

                       Toilets are the places for delivery of human waste. Toilets in schools basically difference from personal toilets at home. Toilets in academical institutions are different from toilets in public places. In schools toilets have important role. Due to that surrounding becomes neat and clean. Keeping Toilets clean means it keeps the student healthy.

            There are innovative measures to keep school toilets clean and use less water. There are numbers of children in a school. So toilets should be made according to the ratio of the number of student. It should be made one toilet for forty students. To avoid infections toilets pan should be made in a way that waste will not deposit on it. It should be made oily for which the wastes will enter in to the tank easily. The system of toilet should be made with new technology. In which there should be provision of a brush fitted with an electric motor. When the students will use the toilet, it will automatically wash the liquid waste. Here less water will consume. A small pipe of water should be connected with it. When the student will use the toilet, the motor will run automatically. It needs only a small amount of water. An anti germ chemical tin will be fitted with the water pipe. So that water and washing chemical will flow together and the brush will automatically wipe the pan out. The fear of consuming more water will be solved. There is no need of watering again on the pan. Chemicals container to wash the toilets should be fitted with the end of water pipes to clean the germs.        

            To release the smell of the toilet well air pipe should be fitted up to top of the roof. The ventilation provision should enough space to clear the air inside the toilets. Students should be taught about the new system of toilet.

              There should be a period of environmental  science especially in a week in schools. Teachers of having environmental academical qualification should be appointed. Environmental science will help the students to know the surrounding better. Students can fit them better with the nature accordingly. Concept of neat and clean should be a separate place in the syllabus of teaching learning process. Parental learning on 'cleaning of surrounding' campaigns should be organised from rural level to urban level.

                 From home students can learn better. They will follow their family members activities. In future they must inspire others or to the society. Stories about the concept of cleaning should be published. Students will learn the advantages of cleaning surrounding. Day must come when we can find the whole  world clean .

             Self confidence in mind is a energetic force of mind to be determined to do a particular job. There are some factors to build up self confidence in mind. Determination, patience, interest, positive thinking, practices, promise,high thinking etc. are the main factor of self confidence. A man with self confidence can overcome the obstacle or hindrance easily.

               Keep away from negative thinking, negative discussion. Negative thinking pull the wheel of success vehicle backwards. Negative thinking means the thinking of "I can not do",I have no ability to do, I have no knowledge, there is no way to do., it is not my duty I need more help, I am alone etc. You should think and repeat the voice that "I can do". It will propel your dreamt jet to the top of the sky of success. Never listen any negative ideas. They depress you from your plan. Positive thinking makes the mind strong, energetic and prosperous. It enhance the power of high thinking and the willingness to complete a task.

              Check out your ability, quality, activity, performance, daily routine.Check them either they are going on according to your plan or not. Try to make a time schedule for your plan to complete. Categories your plan into steps. Steps, should evolutional. You should complete each step chronologically. Never decide at once to start. Think a while,discuss with successors, winner. Read books, magazines, share with them with your  ideas. Never doubt yourself to your ability. Remember you have quality to do. Examine the ideas of successors. Be confident and utilize them. Remember that you have  a time schedule. Obstacles may disturb. Hindrance may try to break you. Carry on, go ahead.

              Determine to complete the steps as per time schedule. Do not loiter on the way. Be target oriented. Strong determination accelerates interest on duty. For which performance will be well developed. So determine yourself to complete the task whatever you have decided to do. There must be a strong interest behind the job you want to do. Interest in any type of job needs sound mind. Never try to bring frustration in mind. Do not share your plan with others. Beg lots of advice from successors to make a plan. But increase your interest yourself to go forward. Be patience to climb the top. Do not betray your way of success. History has left the sign of patience on earth. diseases that no medicine can cure them

                     In general, abnormal position of a living body called a disease. Diseases are of two types, they are physical and mental. Physical diseases are affects to body organs. It causes weak, dull and partly or totally destruction to the systems. They need treatment of different medicinal systems to cure. Some diseases need surgery to cure. Disease like cancer needs rays to be cured. Diseases also are cured with the help of medicines only. But there are certain diseases that have no medicine to cure. The changing situation may be their solution to be cured. 

        The habitual practices often become a disease for a man. Taking rest after lunch by sleeping on a bed is habit of some people. They make it as their daily routine that they must sleep after lunch. It causes disease of idleness for which man cannot do his job properly. The disease of day sleeping will cover his mind. Day will come to be got out of his work or job. If the man is at his work place and takes his lunch at the same place, he must think about rest. It will create a great problem for him that he may keep the work pending or on watching of his boss may dismissed from his job. Again if a man is not punctual at his job, he must be suffered from the disease of laziness. It is such a type of disease that no medicine can active the man. The disease will kill his activeness germs of body. 

                          Without any cause he will be rebuked or scolded. May have to give explanation or have to cheat. It will create another disease for his mind. He may suffer from the disease of being a cheater. Like cancer, the disease of cheating will kill his cleverness of his mind. 

                        Become angry also a severe disease for man. The disease of angriness causes mental imbalance and destruction of society. . In an angry mind man does not go back to scold his elders, teachers, father, mother or his family and friend. For which he may put into dispute or kill anyone. The good relation with other may hamper due to this disease. An angry man is always throwing the diamond of his conscience and catching the valueless breakable glass of proud.  The disease of proud is attacking him, which keeps away from his society. This disease also fills with poison to his blood. The effect of this disease is that it must turn his mind lonely. It will fill his mind garbage of blank thinking and burn him in the fire of realization or repent. History has witnessed this in the Hindu ethics The ‘Ramayana’. 

                                Fear is another disease for human mind. Fear in mind causes narrowness of mind.  In a fearful man there is no courage of facing the truth. Fear of express own opinion may cause a great loss of respect or recognition in the society. Fear of going on an expedition back a man from discovering himself. The fear disease or the phobia cannot be cured with medicine. It can be cured with the forceful situation created by the nature. If a man is fears to jump a style which he can jump easily, he must jump that if a danger is chasing behind him. Disease of fear may kill man without any base. While travelling in a dark night most often a fearful man thinks a bush as a bear or ghost. It may cause his heartbreak and death. Phobia covers the mind of a man with the cloud of worthless thinking. Fear closes the door of success. Fear of falling down pull back a man to cancel the plan.

                     To raise nose is another disease of human being. It means to see others as inferior to him. The man thinks himself superior from others and praises himself will be counted as a patient of hate disease. Man praising himself is hated by others. Showing seniority is also an incurable disease. In this disease the person suffers from it, loses his or her reputation, and forgets his or her position. It has no medicine to be cured. It will cure only in a situation of humiliation.

           The great creation of the God is Human being. From all of the living being man is superior to all. It is greatness of the God that man has got the blessing to move, stand and run with two legs. It has some similarities with other living beings in different behavior.  Man has super brain to control over the world next to the God.

           There are many qualities of human being such as anger, peaceful, simple, naughty, good, bad, clever, foolish, obliged,  disobliged, kind, cruel, idle, active, affectionate, disaffection, tolerance, patience, impatience, negligence, dutiful, stylist, fickle mind, intelligence, unitized, fractioned, social, unsocial, hungry, satisfied, unsatisfied, talkative, quietness, careless, please, displease, friendly, unfriendly, cheater, liar, pride, gentle, innovative, theft, poet, writer, fighter, social worker, artist, creativeness, dependable, independent etc.

         With the qualities, human being constructs something and destroys something. These qualities are inborn which has given by the creator. Let’s discuss the qualities and their effects. When man becomes angry, he may destroy the world and himself. With this tendency it may pollutes the blood and disabled organs of human body. Tension comes to mind and creates clouds of ill thinking in brain. Brain becomes puzzled and hate enters in it. In   anger human being may kill his wife, father, mother, friends and society and fall down from his position. Human blood becomes poisoned.

          Peaceable man tries to avoid quarrelling or fighting with other people. He does everything quietly or peacefully. They suffer no pain or violence. They try to persuade countries or people to stop violence. They work for social welfare. There are examples of peace workers who has got noble prize for peace in history. In the Hindu ethics the ‘Mahabharata’ lord Sri Krishna was the ambassador of peace to avoid war.

               An obliged man does his duty because he is abided by a rule or law. A situation, rule or law makes necessary for him to do his duty. He performs his duty as it is his own duty. Then the country having obliged citizen can develop to a great extent. Peace and happiness will welcome to the people of a country. Obligation leads a prosperous and well developed nation.

                      

               Innocence is another quality of human being. The word innocence derived from Latin word innocent which means ‘no harm’. Innocent man never harm to anyone. But they may be accused without any cause at any moment if will not aware of the situation. And there is also less chance of development of innocent man. Being innocence is good but according to situation man should alert. Most of time innocent people are exploited by the ruler of a dictatorship country.

            Greedy nature of man wants more money, power, food etc. than other really need. In search of money they do not hesitate to harm other. They are very harmful to the society. Greedy man is like a wild animal hunt deer in the forest.

             Innovative quality of man leads to a new creation. It helps a mass of people in a country. Innovation means to make new ideas or technology which will helpful to the living being. The country which has innovative people develops up to a peak level of modern society. Inventions of new technologies uplift the country’s development in different fields.

            It has seen that people living in different geographical regions have different nature. People of tribal regions have different nature than the people living in urban. People of urban are cleverer than the people in tribal. Here urban people mostly exploit the rural people. Following others is also an evolutionary nature of man. Since the period of grown up of civilization man is following the nature for food, cloth and shelter. This nature of man helps to learn something which is unknown to him.

             Daring people are mostly brave and strong. They save themselves and the society from being harm. Cheating nature of human being put into hell themselves. They cannot know that they are being cheated. They make their platform a dull one. Active man always thinks to be updated. Devotee people always dedicate their lives to the almighty God. They believe in right fruit for right job. Jealous man cannot tolerate success of others. He also cannot get success in life. Proudly nature of man is a blind man who cannot see even if he has eyes. So human nature of man is the best nature for human being to survive better. Friendly nature of the man makes unitize to all the human being. Makes the whole world as a family.

        An author is a deep thinker who thinks deeply about the objects of nature. Author describes the thoughts naturally. He creates excitement within the minds of readers. There is an inbuilt art of writing in author. Inspirations come from different sources of world. It is the situations that provide fuel to be inspired. Situation of mind mostly inspired author to describe about the feeling. Inspiring situations or moments  which provide energy to an author are the feeling of love, the feeling of excitement, feeling of sadness, feeling of happiness etc.

          When there a moment of departure from a friend, a life partner, father, mother etc. ,    the author describes about the past events that occurred. The author starts compare the face and facts with the objects of nature. For example an author departed from his life partner all of a sudden, he must remember the qualities of his partner and the event that has experienced by both of them closely. Because there are two types of person found in society i.e. vegetarians and non vegetarians. Vegetarians must have cool mind. Depression will come rarely. History is witness of this tendency of vegetarians. Saints living in jungles and forests were mostly vegetarians. Vegetarians have self confidence, because they have faith in God. They always dedicate their lives to the creator. Their mind was so developed that they were never depress.

        Non vegetarians keeps their mind dissatisfied and they always want more. Most of non vegetarians require alcohol with their food. They never have self confidence. So they become depressed. increasing population and how to grow more crops

          In the opinion of English economist Malthus population of the world is increasing with a geometrical progression. But food production is increasing with arithmetical progression. It means that world population’s increasing sequence is 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and food production’s increasing sequence is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. So with compare to the increasing population, growing rate of food is less. As a result drought, epidemics, revolution, war and internal disturbances occurring frequently and causing destruction and scarcity of food.

        But the propagator of communist, the economist Karl Marx objects the opinion. According to Karl Marx with increasing population, creativity and scientific knowledge will develop in human being for which man will multiply food production. Then he can able to fulfill the demand of food easily.

      But it is true that, if man will not give stress on growing more food then man will face the horrible situation which Malthus has described.

Introduction of ‘Grow more food revolution’ in India:-

       Now in India food problem uplifted its head as a great problem. It has been started since the period of Second World War. At that time the British government had declare to grow more food through governmental order. For this purpose government had inaugurated the Grow more food Department. But due to illiterate and unable farmers of India and dishonest employee of Indian government the Department of grow more food became unsuccessful and lastly abolished.

     After appropriate effort it started the age of freedom, sovereign country. A matter of regret is that there is no more progress in agricultural production. Though there is implementation of extensive farming in India, up to now it has not developed properly. All the expensive planning of government has implemented as experimentally only.

Implementation of grow more food in India:-

    It is perfectly true that, growing more food depend on land development policy of a government. If the tenancy of land is not provided to land labors then they will not be serious about land development. They will not give stress on soil conservation and fertility of land. Because they know that the tenants may take away their land whenever they want. Tenants may give the land to another or cultivate themselves. This type of tendency has been continued since a long ago. So if the government will not implement land reform act properly, the planning of growing more food will be unsuccessful.

    Now in India government has implemented different planning to grow more food. They are agricultural department, lift irrigation department, Grampanchayat community, soil conservation etc.

     More fertilizer factories have set up to meet the need of fertility of land. Pesticides are being manufactured to protect the insects from the crop. Lift irrigation points are being set up to water the crops. Dams and minor irrigation projects are being set up to water the crops in need.

     Government is encouraging the farmers with providing financial aids as loan from banks.  High yielding seeds are being provided to the farmers. Machine and tools should be supplied to the farmers. New technology of agriculture should reach the farmers.

       It is a matter of regret that though there is explosion of population, no spectacular step has taken to grow more crops.  Government is not only responsible for it, but also the citizen responsible for it. We should not burry the water bodies. Integrated citizen can do drove away this problem with ability and determination.  

SCIENCE IN MODERN LIFE'.

        In early age man was depending on nature to live a life. By means of science modern man is producing improved goods to fulfill his basic needs. Because of this the modern age is known as the science age. Nowadays mankind is so dependable on science that without it man can’t survive.

Agricultural development-

        Long years ago man was using ox to ploughing land and depending on rain water for watering the land.

Now science has changed the society. Cultivation is being done by tractors. The underground water can be used for the irrigation to the crop fields. Well developed seeds are being produced in the Agricultural Research Centers which are being capable of more yields in a short period of time. Again these are nutritious as well as pest-resistant. As a result, many crops are being produced in one year and the production is being multiplied. It is being able to provide food to the increased population of the country.

Food-

Science has a great effort in the field of food. Bread, buiscuits,  chocolate, jelly, jam, artificial milk power

etc are being produced with scientifically . There is no problem in pickle and spices. Those are being sold with packet or bottle. Different delicious ice-cream and cold drinks are being sold. Refrigerators are being manufactured to preserve food. Concentrative foods are also being produced.

Construction of  building  -There is a spectacular change in construction of multistoried building with the help of modern technology. Swimming pool and Lawn are being constructed on the top of seven storied building. Air conditioner rooms are giving comfort to human being.

Home appliances  -It is an wonderful creation of science in manufacturing home appliances. Radio, TV,   Telephone ,mobile phone, electric iron, grinder, oven, vacuum cleaner, water filter, water heater, tap recorder, VCP, VCR, computer, air cooler, air conditioner etc. home appliances are invented to make the human life more comfortable through science. We are saving our time by using these products.

Transport –World has become a global village due to modern transport system. People are going from country to country for trading in different ways like air ways, road ways and water ways. Preventions of different diseases are being made easy by mankind. It is decreasing death rate and enhancing life span of human being. Scientists had already dreamt to make man life young.

Education-Science has an important role in the field of education. Due to improvement of printing industry high valued books are being printed and published. Students are being taught with audio visual method. Books of more pages are being saved in a small disk. There is no need of dictionary to find out meaning of difficult words. Computer can find in a single click to them.

Entertainments-Media of entertainment is a fantastical gift of science. Cinema, radio, mobile TV, VCP,VCR, tap recorder  providing man a comfortable life.

Nowadays man is being taken birth in labor room of hospital. Funeral is being burnt in a electric heater. So as man is being helped from womb to tomb by science. Man is being reached to Mars with the help of science.

DRUGS AND HUMAN BEING

         Drugs is that substance which create a temporary excitement inside our body. These are also called anesthetics. People use drugs in an excitement for a while without going through its merits and demerits. Some of them use it to forget stress and depression. But it harms to body and mind. It shouldn’t be used at any cost. Drugs are manufactured to prepare medicine to cure diseases. It is not for common use. Nobody should touch any drug without prescription of a doctor.

               Drugs are of different kinds. They are wine, ganja, opium, cocaine, biri, cigarette, heroine, tobacco, chorus , brown sugar etc.

 Wine-In ancient times the Aryans were taking a drink called Somras. Rishis were also using as drinks. But it had no harmful quality. History has witnessed how the people of Jadu dynasty killed each other by using wine. By knowing the ill effects of the wine, Shuklacharya and Babar had avoided it. Once many of the priests were taking wine as a part of their religion who were called Sakta. Wine is prepared from different substances like rice and pulses, palm juice and date palm juice. In Sanskrit it is called ‘Sura’. Nowadays there are different brands of wine available in the market e.g. XXXRUM, ARISTOCRATE, VODCA ETC. People who use wine become unsocial. Society forbids them everywhere and names them drunker men. Drunker forgets his family and tortures them and can’t fulfill their basic needs. For which they kill themselves along with their family.

Ganja-Ganja is an addictive drug. It is collected from twigs of a plant. It is cultivated illegally. People use it differently. Some people smoke it and other make paste of it and swallow. Devotees of Lord Shiva take it as Prasadam. They think that Lord Shiva takes it for concentration of mind at Yoga. It causes Lungs diseases like TB, cough, asthma etc. So we should avoid it.

Opium- Opium’s Sanskrit name is Ahifena. People living in tribal areas used to feed their babies Opium to go for work in the field. The babies will not disturb them to do their duties. Most of people also use opium as medicine of dysentery for babies. Often the babies also die out of toxicants. People who use opium suffer from eye dullness, mental disorder and illness. They force to sell their daughters and family for a drop of opium. As a result, they become poor to poorer and die. Some use opium with milk for their physical growth. But opium destroy vitamins of milk. Concentrated liquid opium is morphine. Doctors use it for patients for the relief of stomachache. Excessive use of morphine causes death. So we should not use more.

Cocaine-Cocaine is produced from a plant of American region. Using it is a deadly habit. So, it should be avoided.

Tobacco-Biri, cigarette, chorus etc made from tobacco. Using of it causes lounges diseases. Lips becomes

Blacken and attack cough. It not only harms to man who is smoking but also affects to man nearby him. Excessive of it  reacts to brain. Causes cancer and starts flowing of blood from mouth and nose.

Heroine, chorus and  Broun sugar-Heroine, chorus and Broun sugar are the famous drugs  for  people which are more harmful than the others. In near past people of Odisha were not aware of it. Due to modernization now a day’s  people of Odisha  also consuming  these. In eighteenth century the Britishers  were forcing the residence of china to consume Opium to increase their Opium business.

There was opium in every food including tea, juice, breakfast of the people. After observing the destruction of Chinese civilization the leaders of china fought with the britishers. In history it is famous as Opium war.

It is not suitable for anyone to consume any kind of drugs for his social and physical health. The  people who have addicted to drugs they can get rid of it by consulting doctor.
